Stables Room
The Stables Room has a view to the bluestone stables and served as both a family and guest room. The room’s proximity to the stables meant it was mostly occupied by family members most interested in horse sports such as polo, hunting, eventing and racing. The family had s strong affinity with a range of horse sports with racing success stories including Thackery, a two-time Grand Annual winner, and part ownership in Gurners Lane, the 1982 Melbourne & Caufield Cup winner.
