The largest of all accommodation spaces, occupying 77 square meters of the Eastern end of the homestead, the wing originally functioned as the Estates primary school. Where the four daughters of ‘Elizabeth and Bob’ and other local children where attained their early education. Lessons were taught here up until the mid-20th Century, before being converted to a visitor’s wing, then later renovated into its current structural format as a self-contained Grandmother's flat, housing then widow Elizabeth Barr Smith for her final golden years. The space has central heating and a/c cooling for year-round comfort and it’s own private entrance.
